Status: historical decision companion

This page keeps the anchors referenced by Tree of Choices and records which questions are still live. It is intentionally short: resolved items belong in the decision tree, while live work should move into Canon or a working-memory page once it needs active design.

OQ-1 Promotion Mode

Resolved on 2026-04-26. Promotion always creates a variant; callers do not pass a mode argument. The current contract is documented in Tree of Choices.

OQ-2 Applicable Langs Useful Or Dead Code

Still open. The per-language tree already separates language-specific content, so node-level applicable_langs may be unnecessary. Keep it only if a real workflow needs one node to exist in multiple language slots with selective rendering.

OQ-3 Open Tier Hallucination Detection

Still open. OPEN-tier content needs evidence discipline, but detection belongs to the generation and QA pipeline rather than the tree shape itself. A future pipeline spec should say how claims are checked, cited, and rejected.
