This folder is durable onboarding context for AI agents working on this checkout. It is intentionally short, current, and more stable than temporary task handoff notes.

Start Here

  1. Read this file.
  2. Read 01-north-star.md for the product/business frame.
  3. Read 02-current-architecture.md for the live technical model.
  4. Read 03-hot-paths.md before editing code.

Source Priority

When sources conflict, prefer them in this order:

  1. User instructions in the current conversation.
  2. Live code in this checkout.
  3. studies/architecture/README.md and studies/business-model/README.md.
  4. This onboarding/ folder.
  5. Temporary task handoff notes in working-memory/.
  6. Older docs, memories, and historical reports.

Maintenance Rule

Keep these docs boring. They should answer:

  • What is the product?
  • What is the current architecture?
  • Where are the hot paths?
  • What is currently broken or mid-migration?

Do not paste long debugging transcripts here. If a detail is likely to churn, link to the file or command that proves it instead.
